The Best Apps To Edit Instagram Stories (Next Level)
The past few months have seen a rapid increase in the popularity of using Instagram Stories as a creative way to engage and grab interest with your followers. I love finding inspiration to make my own Instagram stories appealing and stand out (especially when I take brunch pics).
And with Instagrams algorithm still messing up our engagement and exposure, Instagram stories are the BEST way to stand out from everyone else and connect with your audience on a more personal level.
By doing all the experimenting myself on numerous phone apps to customise images, create borders and collages and insert graphics, I've come up with the best apps to edit Instagram Stories.
If you're ready to take the next step and REALLY stand out on Instagram today, check out these amazing editing apps!
The Best Apps To Edit Instagram Stories
Lightroom CC is an essential app for every blogger out there as it allows you to personalise your own preset filters, giving you a consistent theme. Instagram is all about the aesthetic so when you click on someone's feed and find a beautifully coherent layout, you're more likely to want to engage and follow them.
In the past, I would use 2-4 editing apps to perfect my photo but ever since I discovered Lightroom CC, I only need that one app to brighten, add saturation, grain effect, clarity etc.
So why do you need Lightroom CC for your Instagram stories? Well just like having a consistent theme, the same applies for your Stories. People are less likely to swipe away if it's a beautifully edited photo with great lighting!
Another well liked app is Font Candy, and what sets this apart is the sheer variety of font styles and prints to turn a bland image into something totally cute! They also have Instagram crop presets so that nothing gets cut out when you're uploading it onto your Stories. I usually use this when I want to promote my new blog post or if I want to ask people's opinions on trending topics (i.e. the Royal Wedding and my obsession with Meghan Markle)
A really fun app is a Chinese one I discovered called Pitu. It allows you to create adorable preset collages, add fonts and even apply makeup on your pictures! I love using this app to interact with my followers because it creates engaging content through the fun selection of presets! I've also edited my physical appearance! For example, you can create polls and ask your followers when you're unsure if you want to change your hair colour. It's definitely one where you can spend a lot of time on and never get bored.
Ever see those amazing collages/slideshows on Instagram stories? They're probably using Pic Collage, an app where you can select images and place them in pre-made grids for those inspirational layouts. Additionally, there's also a freestyle option where you can be more creative and think outside the box (no pun intended). Add text and icons to explain or outline your post and upload it onto your Instagram Story!
